“Оn the occasion of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China an awarding ceremony was at the Embassy of Ukraine on February 25, 2012. A group of talented Chinese artists from the Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of the Ministry of Culture of China was awarded by the “Certificate of the Ambassador of Ukraine to China Yuriy Kostenko”.

Adressing the audience H.E.Mr. Yuriy Kostenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to China, highly appreciated creative achievements of well-known artists and wished them to make greater contribution to the development of culture and art exchanges between Ukraine and China.

Mr. Fan Dian, the vice-president of the Union of Artists of China and director of Fine Arts Museum of China expressed his gratitude to the Embassy and expectations on further development of cooperation with it and art circles of Ukraine.

The ceremony was attended by the representatives of a number of creative and educational institutions, local community of China, diplomats of the Embassy, members of the Chinese media”.
