The event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine together with “Jintai” Beijing Fine Arts Museum. Mr. Yuan Xikun, permanent member of All-China Committee of the People’s Political Consultative Conference of China, Mr. Zhang Wei, Counsellor of Europe and Central Asia Department of the MFA of the PRC, Ukrainian students studying in Beijing and researches from Peking University, Ukrainian and Chinese schoolmates from secondary and primary schools, in total one hundred participants, also were present at the meeting.

H.E.Mr. Dyomin, Mr. Yan Xikun and Mr. Zhang Wei took a floor at the meeting.

On the occasion of the jubilee Ukrainian and Chinese students and children were engaged in the performance with declamation of Shevchenko verses in Ukrainian and Chinese languages.
