On 13th of June at Embassy of Ukraine in China there was a meeting with a delegation of Kherson region, headed by the Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak and Head of Kherson Regional Council Viktor Pelyh.

Ambassador of Ukraine to China Yrii Kostenko informed the participants about the current status of the Ukrainian-Chinese relations, the preparations for the state visit of the President of China H.E. Hu Jintao to Ukraine and the important tasks for developing the bilateral cooperation to be solved during this visit.

In turn, the Head of Kherson Regional State Administration informed about the region’s plans for cooperation with China. Particularly, the delegation will participate in Harbin International Agricultural Fair and will conduct a number of negotiations with Chinese businessmen in the Heilongjiang and Jiangsu provinces.

At the meeting, it was agreed the Embassy of Ukraine in China to provide a comprehensive support for the region to implement the economic projects of Kherson region with the participation of Chinese companies.
