On June 10, 2011 the Ambassador of Ukraine in China Yurii Kostenko visited the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and congratulated the SCO Secretary-General Muratbek Imanaliev with the 10th Anniversary of the Organization.

The Ambassador of Ukraine, in particular, stressed upon a steady strengthening of influence of the Organization on international arena, that profoundly prooves the growing interest not only of Asian but also other countries in the world to participate in the SCO’s activities.

"Shanghai Spirit" of mutual trust, equality, respect for cultural diversity and the pursuit of mutually beneficial co-development are an excellent foundation and guarantee for the further success of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In turn, the SCO Secretary-General warmly thanked for the greetings and expressed hope for further fruitful dialogue and cooperation between Ukraine with the SCO on mutually beneficial basis.
