On January 12, 2011 in the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held a reception on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

The Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Jiang Shusheng, speaking at the event, noted that the intensive development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations based on principles of mutual trust and understanding, and highlighted the intensification of promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to China Yurii Kostenko in his speech paid attention on the content of bilateral contacts between Ukraine and China in recent years and future directions of strategic partnership.

The officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the International Department of CPC Central Committee, former Chinese Ambassadors to Ukraine, diplomats and Chinese media representatives participated in the ceremony.

The film about Ukraine, works of folk art and Ukrainian songs and poems performed by children's ensemble of Tianjin city presented during the event.
