19 October in Beijing’s Chaoyang Park the Embassy of Ukraine participated in the Charity Bazaar “Love knows no borders”, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

A vivid and colourful Ukrainian corner with national food, books and variety of handcrafts drew attention of many foreign and Chinese participants, including Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his wife Qian Wei.

During this year’s Bazaar Ukrainian Embassy raised charitable funds in amount of 16370 RMB (about 2700 USD) raised to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, which will be used to renovate the poor mountain villages in Yunnnan province of China.

Around 70 foreign embassies in Beijing, as well as representations of 5 international organizations took part in this year’s Charity Bazaar.
