In the framework of commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Ukrainian-Chinese diplomatic relations H.E.Mr. Yuriy Kostenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to the PRC, took part and had a floor in opening ceremony of the “100 years of Ukrainian fine arts” exhibition held in the Exhibition Hall of the International Trade Center in Beijing.

Grand ceremony was attended by Mr. Yan Xiaohong, vice minister of press and publications of China, top managers of a number of publishing houses and printing firms, renowned Ukrainian artists, numerous Chinese media and art circles of China.

In their congratulatory speeches the head of the diplomatic representation of Ukraine in China and the Chinese government official expressed common vision on the exhibition of Ukrainian artists of different generations as a new substantial step ahead towards comprehensive development of culture and arts contacts between Ukraine and China, which have wide perspectives of further movement.

The exhibition is organized within a framework of the 4th International intellectual property fair and will last until June 26, 2012.
