On January 14^th, 2015, H.E. Mr. Oleg Dyomin, Ambassador of Ukraine, has met representatives of the DalianUniversity of Foreign Languages (DUFL): Ms.Liu Hong, Vice-President, Ms. Ren Xuemei, Director of the International Department and Mr. Do Hongjun,  head of Centre of Ukrainian Studies (CUS).

During the meeting DUFL representatives informed Ukrainian diplomats about CUS works its opening on April 16^th, 2014. For 2014/2015 academic year DUFL introduced Ukrainian language (as a second foreign language), continues preparation of textbooks " Regions of Ukraine", "Ukrainian language" (in Chinese, Ukrainian and Russian languages). Four seminars on Ukraine have been held: "Ukraine is European country", "Great Ukrainians persons", "Ukrainian traditions" and "Beauty and the richness of Ukrainian language".

In 2015 DUFL plans to create a bilingual site with researches on Ukraine, to launch a "Journal of the Centre of Ukrainian Studies of DUFL" and hold a series of conferences, workshops and other events devoted to Ukraine.

H.E. Mr. Oleg Dyomin welcomed the achievements of the Centre of Ukrainian Studies of DUFL in the development of Ukraine-China relations and wished further success.
