On August 25, 2015 in Beijing the Embassy of Ukraine in the People’s Republic of China and the company "Ukraine House" with the largest investment company in Ukraine Dragon Capital and Ukrainian law firm which operates under English law DLA Piper, held a business seminar "Practical and legal aspects of cooperation with Ukraine" .

     The event was attended by representatives of more than 30 leading Chinese companies and associations interested in developing trade, economic and investment cooperation with Ukraine, including COFCO, CNBM International, China Nuclear Energy Industry, Citic Construction Co., Ltd, China National Complete Engineering Corporation, Association of international exchange of Heilongjiang province and others.

     Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in China Viktor Tanasiichuk, Managing director of investment company Dragon Capital Brian Best, director of the company Michael Granchak and legal director of the international law firm DLA Piper Illya Muchnyk were the speakers of the event.

     The participants of the business seminar were introduced to the political and macroeconomic situation in Ukraine, especially its legislation on business and investment in the privatization process in the country and the specifics of the Ukrainian market.
