On 14 September 2015, diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in China met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar. During the meeting, a number of social, economic, political issues, including the protection of Ukrainian citizents` rights in Mongolia, were discussed.
     The Ukrainian community was briefed about the current political situation and ongoing internal reforms in Ukraine. The participants were presented a lot of new data, magazines, books and CDs about Ukraine in English and Ukrainian. The Ukrainian citizens who live and work in Mongolia (mostly in Ulaanbaatar and Erdene) were keenly interested in the consular issues.
     As a result of the meeting participants:
     1) agreed to establish the Ukrainian community association in Mongolia and to coordinate closer its activities with the Ukrainian Embassy;
     2) launched the online resource for the Ukrainians who live in Mongolia (since 15 September 2015 the respective link in Facebook has been operational);
     3) arranged for holding regular meetings of the Ukrainian community in Mongolia (in September - October 2015 two meetings were held).
