On 27 – 29 January 2016, the delegation of the Embassy of Ukraine in the People’s Republic of China consisting of Counsellor Vsevolod Sobko and First Secretary Alexander Serdechny paid a visit to the city of Changchun (Jilin Province) on the invitation of Cedar Electronics Company supported by the local authorities.

The Embassy’s delegation held a number of meetings during the visit with the leadership of different departments of the People`s Government of Jilin Province and People’s Municipal Government of Changchun city, the Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Jilin Province, Jilin Province Innovation Enterprise Investment Company. The Ukrainian diplomats got familiarized with activities of various research and production divisions of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Science, Changchun Railways Vehicles Company, as well as the operational Changchun technological parks.     

In the course of meetings, the officials of the Ukrainian Embassy have discussed the prospects for cooperation between the above-mentioned institutions of Changchun City and Jilin Province and the respective companies in Ukraine.
