On February 12, 2016 at the Embassy of Ukraine in People’s Republic of China Ambassador Oleg Dyomin met with a famous Chinese scholar in Ukrainian studies, professor of Beijing University Mr. Lee Mingbing.

During the meeting the parties discussed the importance of cultural and educational exchanges between Ukraine and China, as well as contribution of Ukrainian scientists in the development of teaching of Ukrainian literature and history in China.

 

At present a reissue of Taras Shevchenko’s “Kobzar” in Chinese language is being prepared to be presented in March, 2016 at the Embassy of Ukraine in Beijing.
