On May 16, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine to China Yurii Kostenko took part in solemn ceremony on the occasion of 60th anniversary of foundation the China University of Political Science and Law.

The Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhou Tienong, representatives of political and executive power, Beijing Municipality and the President of the University in their speeches emphasized the significant contribution of the educational institution to the development of science, innovation and successful training of qualified specialists in politics and law.

In June 2010 the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and China University of Political Science and Law signed the Agreement on Cooperation, under which occur annual exchange of delegations. Particularly, the delegation of this Chinese institution headed by the Vice-President Zhu Yong visits Ukraine on May 26-28, 2012.
