On June 15, 2016 in historical part of Harbin City Ambassador of Ukraine to China Oleg Dyomin and First Deputy Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Y.Svitlichna opened offices of Chinese-Ukrainian House of business, science and culture in Harbin City and regional Representative Office of Kharkiv region in Heilongjiang province.

These offices are to become centers of business, scientific and cultural exchange, as well as a platform for different specialized centers.

The first one of these is the Electric Welding Center, created on the base of the joint venture with Paton Electric Welding Institute.
