On October 22, 2016 an annual International Charity Sale “Love knows no borders – building bridges for heart-to-heart connectivity” was held in Beijing, in which about 100 diplomatic missions and representatives of the international organizations, accredited in the Chinese capital, took part. The event was held under the auspices of Madam Qian Wei, wife of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

The pavilion of the Embassy of Ukraine in China exhibited national souvenirs, embroidered clothes and hats, ceramics, Petrykivka paintings etc.

Drinks, sweets and delicious dishes of the Ukrainian cuisine, prepared by members of Women’s Club of the Embassy, were offered to our numerous guests. Besides, printed materials about the tourist and investment potential of Ukraine were presented on the book shelf of the pavilion.

 

All funds raised at the charity sale will go to building bridges in poor areas of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.
