On April 12, 2017 the diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in China met with Chinese businessmen delegation that proposed to set up a Ukrainian-Chinese Cultural Exchange Center in Beijing.

During the meeting the main attention was paid to discussion of the Center’s conception and objectives, as well as organizational aspects and possible ways of support from the Embassy side.

The Chinese part presented the proposed project to be implemented by the end of this year.

The interlocutors stressed the importance of active development of cultural relations between Ukraine and China as a solid bases for the rapprochement of the two nations and their mutual understanding.
