During his visit to Jiangxi province, in its capital city of Nanchang, on 10th May 2012 H.E. Mr. Yurii Kostenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to China, met Vice-governor of the province Mrs. Xie Ru. The sides exchanged views on cooperation between Ukraine and this south-eastern Chinese province with population of 45 million, prospects of further fruitful cooperation in the fields of economy, education, science and culture. Mrs. Xie Ru stated that in 2011 nearly 240 enterprises and companies of the province cooperated with Ukraine on implementation of various projects, with commercial result totaling at 100 million USD. It was also stressed on the necessity of enhancing partnership and cooperation between Jiangxi province and Chernivtsi region of Ukraine.

The same day the Ambassador visited Nanchang Aviation University where he discussed with Professor Yu Huan, President of the University, partnership relations with National Aviation University and Odesa National Polytechnic University in the framework of signed agreements on cooperation. The meeting was attended by the University teachers who graduated from the National Aviation University of Ukraine, Odesa National Polytechnic University and Dnipropetrovsk National University. They warmly recollected their student years in Ukraine, expressed sincere gratitude for the high level of acquired knowledge in Ukrainian universities.
