On the occasion of the 205^th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth Ambassador of Ukraine to China Oleg Dyomin together with Embassy staff and representatives of the capital's Museum "Jintai" laid flowers to the monument of the Great Son of the Ukrainian people in Chaoyang park (Beijing) on March 13, 2019.

After the flower-laying ceremony the students of Beijing primary school "Fang Cao Di" recited the poetry of Taras Shevchenko in the Chinese language.
