On 8 April 2019, Mr. Roman Hreba, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, who arrived in China with a working trip, visited the Embassy of Ukraine in China.

During the meeting in the Embassy, relevant issues of Ukrainian-Chinese education cooperation were discussed, in particular, the Third meeting of the Subcomission on Cooperation in Education field between Ukraine and China due to take place this June.

Special attention was paid to the cooperation between higher education institutions of Ukraine and China and the measures to be taken to increase the number of Chinese students in Ukrainian universities.

The meeting was also attended by the rectors of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University Igor Kotsan and Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University Leonid  Klymenko.
