On May 7, the Ukrainian diplomats with their families and the Ukrainians in Beijing marked the end of the World War II, while commemorating  the Remembrance and Reconciliation Day and the  Day of Victory over Nazism in the World War II.

Ambassador of Ukraine in China H.E. Oleg Dyomin addressing the audience underlined an important role of the Ukrainian nation in the World War II. He also urged to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the victory over the Nazis and for the freedom of the Ukrainian nation in the ongoing war against Russian aggressors.

In memory of all victims of the World War II, the participants observed a one-minute silence and lit candles.

At the event a documentary drama "Children of Victory" by TV channel "1+1", as well as a thematic exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the expulsion of the Nazis from Ukraine were introduced to the audience.
