September 6, an official ceremony of signing memorandums of understanding between the Mongolian Confederation of Journalists and foreign journalistic organizations was held in Ulaanbaatar.

The representatives from more than 10 countries participated in the event: Poland, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Estonia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Congo, Russia and others.

The memorandum of understanding between the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists was signed during the event. The parties agreed to intensify contacts between the mass media and journalists of Ukraine and Mongolia and to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of information.

Mr. Victor Vesilik, the journalist of Ukrainian TV channel “Rada”, and a diplomatic representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in China (non-resident to Mongolia) participated in the signing ceremony.
