On October 10^th Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in the People's Republic of China Andriy Sergienko and First Secretary Natalia Stepan held a meeting with management of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

In the course of meeting, the interlocutors have discussed conduction of the next 7^th Meeting of Subcommittee on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture of Commission for Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of China. Besides the parties have exchanged the views on practical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the implementation of the Program of Ukrainian-Chinese Agricultural Investment Cooperation, as well as enlarging the list of Ukrainian agricultural products that have access to the Chinese market, etc.

Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC emphasized on the great interest the Chinese Side has in further development of cooperation with Ukraine in the agricultural sphere and expressed their gratitude for our country's support for China's candidacy during the election of the FAO leader.
