On 6 December 2012, the Embassy of Ukraine in China participated in the First International Cultural Festival, organized by the Lanzhou Jiaotong University.

The International Cultural Festival widely presented countries, representing international students studying in the University. Ukrainian booth was distinguished by flag and panoramic photos of Ukrainian cities which attracted attention of many participants.

The Embassy provided the event with books and booklets about Ukraine and national souvenirs.

Mr. Denissuk Igor, first secretary of the Embassy, in his speech on the opening ceremony informed the auditory about development of bilateral relations in the Education field, including adoption this year of the Plan of priorities measures for the development of Ukraine-China cooperation in the field of education for 2012-2014 and a renewed Agreement on cooperation in education.

During the Festival professors and students of the University devoted much attention to magnificent panoramic photos of Ukrainian regions, took books and booklets.
