On August 4, Ambassador Serhii Kamyshev met with Director of the National Art Museum of China Wu Weishan who is a honorary academician of the National Art Academy of Ukraine. Wu Weishan is also famous for his paintings and sculptures, including the memorial "The Gate of Soul – a Dialogue between Taras Shevchenko and Du Fu" that was installed in 2017 in the Kyiv Fomin Botanical Garden on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged their views on fostering Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in the field of culture and arts. Besides, it was agreed to consider the possibility of implementing of bilateral projects to mark important dates in the history of friendly relations between our two countries.
