On October 14 Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Mr.Serhii Kamyshev and Embassy’s staff took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition «China Wind Power 2020» being held this year in Beijing.

The exhibition is organized by Chinese associations, particularly China Wind Energy Association, under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce of China. Its objective is to set up a platform for the exchanges in the latest innovative achievements in the wind power generation, promote B2B contacts and cooperation between producers and their customers.

The ceremony was inaugurated with speeches by representatives of International Agency for Renewable Agency, International Energy Agency, Danish Energy Agency, diplomatic corps and others.  

During the exhibition the Embassy has established contacts with key producers of wind turbines and components in China, namely Goldwind», «Sino-wind», «Winenergy», «Sinovel». These meetings provided solid data on the possibility of business development of these companies in Ukraine, including investments and establishment of production base.
