Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batmunh Batzegseg in New York.

The meeting was the first personal contact between Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Mongolia in the last 8 years.

"We are expanding the geography of Ukrainian diplomacy in accordance with the Strategy of Foreign Policy, we are looking for benefits for Ukraine and its interests around the world," said Dmytro Kuleba.

The Ministers discussed the development of political dialogue between Ukraine and Mongolia, agreed to hold political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, and to cooperate in international organizations.

Dmytro Kuleba proposed to resume the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission in order to increase trade and to develop scientific and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Mongolia.
