On January 18, 2021, at the invitation of the Chinese National Space Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, first secretary Artem Rozhdestvenskyi visited the National Observatory and took part in the presentation of Chang'e-5 mission results.
On December 16, 2020, firstly since 1976, 1,73 kg of samples was delivered to Earth from the Moon.
During the event, the Chinese side presented Chang'e-5 mission equipment as well as a laboratory for samples analysis.
The Chinese side emphasizes its readiness to promote the implementation of joint projects for Lunar samples research and the international exchange of results.
