On October 19th Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine Ms.Zhanna Leshchynska participated in the Business Forum “Ukraine-Mongolia: new opportunities and possibilities for bilateral cooperation” hosted online at the invitation of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).
This business event was attended by representatives of both countries: senior officials of the business-associations, departments of the Foreign Ministries, Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, private companies (around 50 participants).
In her address to the participants the head of the Embassy noted the potential of trade and economic dimension for cooperation of both states, which is not yet being explored to its fullest. This cooperation could be further enriched with joint projects in mining industry, machine building, energy sector. Ukraine and Mongolia display a political will for strengthening bilateral ties, which was revealed during the fruitful meeting on the level of Foreign Ministers within 76 Session of the UN General Assembly. Ms.Zhanna Leshchynska stressed that Ukrainian-Mongolian cooperation could be invigorated by means of intergovernmental dialogue, particularly through the meetings of Commission on cooperation.
