The Ukrainian Institute announces the launch of nominations for the “Khvylia / Dalğa” Award for the promotion of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages worldwide.
The award aims to recognize outstanding achievements of professionals engaged in teaching and promoting the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar languages and to encourage their continued work and development.
Four laureates will receive the award (two for the Ukrainian language and two for the Crimean Tatar language) for significant achievements in language promotion, the development of educational materials (including digital resources), the scaling of educational initiatives, and the application of innovative teaching approaches.
Nominees may be proposed by both Ukrainian and international cultural institutions, language-learning centers, research organizations, diaspora associations, and members of the jury.
Award recipients will receive monetary prizes as well as additional opportunities to expand and promote their work with the support of the Ukrainian Institute.
Applications for nominations are accepted until 22 June 2026.
