In the framework of the 72nd session of the UNGA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi.
The interlocutors discussed a number of the agenda issues, in particular the outcomes of Ukraine and China Presidents’ meeting last January in Davos, possible terms of the forthcoming 3rd meeting of the Ukraine-China Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation, ways of trade, economic and investment cooperation enhancement, as well as interaction in the framework of international organizations, including cooperation of the Ukrainian and Chinese delegations to the UN Security Council.
The Ukrainian President’s initiative on establishing a UN PKO in Dombas was also discussed.
Pavlo Klimkin confirmed the invitation to his Chinese colleague to pay a visit to Ukraine.
