From October 31 till November 3, 2017, with the assistance and participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in China, a delegation of Ukrainian scientists led by Academician A.G. Zagorodnyi, the Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, visited Shandong province with the aim of participating in the First Ukrainian-Chinese Science and Innovation Conference. 

In the framework of the visit Ukrainian specialists visited the cities of Yantai, Qingzhou, Dongying, Zibo and Jinan, surveyed the work of high-tech enterprises and held talks with Wang Shujian, the Vice governor of the Shandong province, and with leaders of municipal governments to expand mutually beneficial scientific and technical cooperation.

 

The Chinese side highly appreciated the potential of Ukrainian scientists and prospects of commercialization of joint scientific projects on the base of industrial enterprises in Shandong province.

 

During the First Ukrainian-Chinese Science and Innovation Conference, specialists from both countries presented their R@D projects, discussed further cooperation and signed few agreements.
