On December 11, 2017 Oleg Dyomin, Ambassador of Ukraine to China, had the meeting with heads of regional governments in Ukraine that participated in the annual General Assembly of China’s Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC). M.Klochko, Head of Sumy State Regional Administration, O.Valov, Deputy Head of Ternopil State Regional Administration, O.Symchyshyn, Kmelnytskyi Mayor and A.Kulchynskyi, Truskavets Mayor have shared their plans as for the cooperation with the Chinese platforms and companies that support the realization of joint projects as well as with the local governments they have or plan to establish the interregional relations. There were frank discussions on the investment potential of Ukraine’s regions and the ways to open them to the potential investors and partners from China as well as the problems that slower this process. 

      In frameworks of General Assembly the above mentioned regions have been granted the membership in Chamber’s allied structure - Silk Road Urban Alliance, and SRCIC has signed the MOUs on cooperation with them.
