On May 10,2018 in Xian, Shaanxi province, one of the China`sleading higher education centers, hosted the international conference "New Times, New Opportunities, New Collaboration" on issues of educational cooperation of China with other member States of the initiative "One Belt&One Road".

The event was attended by representatives of governmental agencies and higher education institutions from more than 20 countries and regions of the world, including Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany, etc.

During the Conference, in particular, the opening ceremony of the Center of Ukrainian Studies, created at the Shaanxi provinceVocational and technical Collegetook place. A cooperation agreement between the College and the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasylenko was signed.

 

Background: according to the statistics of the People's Government of Shaanxi province, currently about 11 160 foreign students from 156 countries and regions of the world, among whom about 20 students from Ukraine study in this province.
