On 26 July 2018, Mr. Oleg Dyomin, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China, met with Mr. Zhang Hanhui, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, in the premises of the Chinese Foreign Affairs Office.

The interlocutors have discussed the most topical issues of current relations between Ukraine and China, in particular, in the context of Ukraine’s participation in the Shanghai International Import Expo 2018, the course of two parties’ implementing the decisions of the Third session of the Commission on Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the People’s Republic of China, preparatory activities for holding the Days of Ukraine in China this fall etc.

The Two Sides have exchanged their views on promising areas of intensifying the trade and economic cooperation, as well as the scientific and technological interaction between Ukraine and China. The combined efforts of two countries aimed at fulfilling their specific joint projects and all-round deepening their strategic partnership were also discussed.
