On 17 January 2019, the Ukrainian company FILM.UA and the Embassy of Ukraine held a joint presentation of the Ukrainian Cartoon “The Stolen Princess” in the Beijing 798 Art Zone. Chinese officials, mass media, cinema experts, producers and cinema-fans attended the event.

It is for the first time that the Ukrainian movie is released on 4500 big screens in China. For the Ukrainian film industry it became an unprecedented case.

Addressing to the audience,Ambassador of Ukraine in China Oleg Dyominunderlined  high quality of Ukrainian animation and expressed his hope for boostering the Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in the field of film production, in particular through joint film projects.
