On 17 January 2019, Mr. Oleg Dyomin, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China, met with Mr. Li Qian, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.

During the meeting the Sides discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the city of Chongqing in trade, economic, investment, interregional and humanitarian spheres. The Parties agreed to join efforts to start bilateral projects in these areas.

In addition, the Chinese side invited representatives of Ukraine to take part in the All-China Western Investment and Trade Fair (May) and the International Exhibition of the Intellectual Industry (September), which will be held in Chongqing.
