On 21 January 2019, Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Chair of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, in the framework of a working visit to China, held a meeting in Beijing with the Chair of the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO and Deputy Minister of  Education of ChinaMr. Tian Xuejun.

During the meeting, the two Parties discussed the current issues and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and China within UNESCO, as well as other topical issues of mutual interest.
