On 8 December 2019, the team of the Embassy of Ukraine in China won the Golden Award at the 9th “Oriental Sunshine” Diplomat National Costume Competition for the best presentation of the national costumes and the Christmas traditions. The embassies of Bulgaria, Belarus, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries took part in the contest which is traditionally organized by the “Diplomat” magazine.

This year theme “Family” was aimed at drawing the attention of the international community to family traditions and values. Over 30 media made a live report of the competition. More information:
