On 17 December 2019, a Ukrainian diplomat took part in the Fifth International Forum on Sharing Chinese Music with the World organized by the Chinese Central Conservatory of China (CCOM) for professors, graduates and students of local musical educational institutions, as well as for foreign diplomats and employees of the Confucius music classes abroad.

Speaking at the Forum, a representative of the Ukrainian Embassy highlighted a history of Ukrainian music and also stressed an importance of further development of the Ukrainian-Chinese music cooperation, including music education.

She also appraised the activity of the Music Confucius Classroom which was co-established by the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and the CCOM in Kyiv last June.
