On 15 December 2019, the diplomats of the Ukrainian Embassy in China held a presentation on the traditions of Christmas celebration in Ukraine for the students of the Beijing Foreign Studies University who study the Ukrainian language.

The Chinese students were interested in rich history of Christmas, one of the most beautiful and solemn Christian holidays which has unique traditions, customs and symbols in Ukraine.

After the presentation, the students learnt how to make icing and how to decorate traditional sweet Christmas gingerbread.
