The economic and investment potential of Crimea "Crimea – the ground for Ukraine’s entrance to the Black Sea region" and "Crimea for investor" was presented at the Embassy of Ukraine in China on November 9, 2011. The event was attended by representatives of relevant governmental authorities of China, state and municipal enterprises, businesses and media circles, including the Chinese International Tourism Service, China Machine-Building Corp., China WindPower Corporation, China CAMC Engineering Co., the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourist Development, Export-Import Bank of China etc.

Ambassador of Ukraine to China H. E. Mr. Yurii Kostenko greeted the participants and made an introductory speech.

Presentation was hold by Mr. R. Temirgaliev, Chairman of the Standing Committee on health-resorts and tourism of the Supreme Council of the Crimea AR and

Mr. O. Starodubov, Director of Agency for Regional Development of the Crimea AR. During the event key economic indicators of the region were highlighted, concrete investment projects presented.

The event took place in the framework of the official visit to China of the Crimea AR delegation, lead by The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of AR Crimea – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ms. K. Yurchenko. After the presentation, Ms. Yurchenko gave positive assessment of the current Crimean – Chinese regional cooperation and answered numerous questions by the Chinese visitors.
