On 26 August 2020, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Serhii Kamyshev met with Director of the Department of European – Central Asian Affairs of the MFA of the PRC Sun Linjiang.

During the conversation, the interlocutors have discussed a wide range of topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda, including the process of preparation for the next meetings of the Ukrainian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation and its subcommittees, as well as the practice of cooperation between the two countries in international organizations.

 The Sides also exchanged their views on the prospects for increasing the bilateral trade and economic cooperation and the ways to intensify a high-level political dialogue between the two States.

The diplomats were pleased to state the progressive development of current stage of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and China, as well as their far-reaching perspectives.
