On September 3, 2020, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China Serhiy Kamyshev visited the China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm Group) and met with Chairman Liu Jingzhen.

The Sinopharm Group is the largest pharmaceutical company in China and the fifth in the world. It includes more than 1,100 companies, that provide a full cycle for the development, production, logistics and distribution of drugs, medical devices, diagnostic and prevention kits, particularly, vaccines.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the Sinopharm Group were discussed, including joint efforts for the fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both parts noted a high level of relationship and identified new promising topics of cooperation.
