On 6 November 2020, at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), Ambassador of Ukraine to China Serhii Kamyshev and Ukrainian diplomats met with the Vice President of the Chinese National Grain Association Ren Zhi and the leaders of the other largest Chinese companies importing Ukrainian agricultural products (COFCO , Cargil, CCEC).

During the meeting, the parties welcomed a significant increase in trade turnover for 9 months of 2020, discussed the problems that Chinese companies face in cooperation with Ukrainian partners, and  encouraged the urgent solutions to these problems. In addition, the Chinese grain companies promised their overall support to the Embassy in promoting Ukraine's interests in opening the Chinese market for Ukrainian agricultural products.

Ambassador Serhii Kamyshev invited Chinese companies to invest into the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex, and also suggested to consider their participation in the development of infrastructure projects on the Black Sea coastline in Ukraine.
