The 9th meeting of the Agricultural Subcommittee of the Ukraine-China Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee was held on July 7 via video link. The meeting was co-chaired by Oksana Osmachko, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and Tao Huaiying, Chief Veterinary Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Representatives from the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Embassy of Ukraine in the PRC, and the Embassy of the PRC in Ukraine also participated in the meeting.

During the session, the two sides discussed agricultural trade, cooperation in the agricultural sector, mutual market access, and prospects for technical and scientific collaboration.
