Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Serhii Kamyshev met the top management of the partner corporation AVIC, which provided its warehouse facilities for storing the humanitarian aid addressed to Ukraine.

Chinese corporation was represented by the Head of Board Liu Hongde, Vice President Li Oifeng, Director-General of the International Department Zou Kangning, Deputy Director-General of the International Department Yang Huijun.

The Embassy have expressed the words of gratitude to its Chinese partners for prompt response to the need of storing the bulky cargo with medical products with a total volume of 120 cubic meters.

The market price of the collected medical products is translated roughly into 1 million USD.

As it is expected in the near future, the flight from Ukraine to Beijing will transport the cargo to its beneficiaries in our country. All the formal procedures, including diplomatic permissions to make this flight happen have been accomplished by the Embassy in a timely manner. In total, starting March 20 until April 15 the Embassy have received 19 permissions for such flights.
