On July 2^nd with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine an online-meeting was held between the leadership of Pyryatyn City Council (Poltava Oblast) and their Chinese colleagues in the city of Hefei (Anhui Province). The goal was to elaborate on the initiatives of the Ukrainian Side regarding the drafting of the cooperation agreement as well as on the exchange of visits of the city representatives.

In the course of the meeting the Sides have shared their presentations regarding their regions’ advantages in tourism, geographical location, economy etc. Both Sides have expressed interest in cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing, business support, IT, culture, education and others. Given a rising interest in China to the agricultural products supplies from Ukraine, Pyryatyn officials briefed their Chinese colleagues on major agricultural enterprises, which established their business in the city, and transportation infrastructure available to the city.

The Sides have agreed to continue communication through the designated contact points around the drafting of the bilateral document and identifying opportunities for further meetings.
