One of its outcomes is the agreement with the Chinese side on the text of Protocol on inspection, phytosanitary and sanitary requirements for wheatmeal exported from Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China between the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, which was signed on 6 April 2026 by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Kyiv. The Protocol opens up new opportunities for the export of Ukrainian value-added products to the Chinese market, is an important step towards diversification of export markets and strengthening Ukraine’s position in global markets.
