On March 27–28, 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Olexander Nechytaylo paid a working visit to Tianjin, one of China’s municipalities directly under the central government. The visit was aimed at advancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, expanding the presence of Ukrainian products on the Chinese market, and deepening contacts in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with Mr. Luan Jianzhang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government.

The Ambassador also visited local enterprises cooperating with Ukraine. During talks with Mr. Zhang Yufeng, General Director of Tianjin Textile Group Import and Export Inc., the parties noted the positive experience of cooperation with Ukrainian partners and expressed interest in further expanding the areas of cooperation.

The Ambassador also met with the General Director of Tianjin Gaia International Trade Co., Ltd. During the meeting, the Chinese partners delivered a detailed presentation on the company’s activities in the import, distribution, and promotion of Ukrainian products on the Chinese market. The parties discussed the company’s practical experience in promoting Ukrainian goods, their presence on major online platforms, as well as efforts to ensure the presence of Ukrainian brands in national and regional retail networks across China.
