On December 22, 2021, the representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the People’s Republic of China participated in the meeting of the Council of the China-Ukraine E.O.Paton Institute of Welding at the invitation of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences.

During the event, the heads of the China-Ukraine E.O.Paton Institute of Welding, E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Guangdong Academy of Sciences discussed the outcomes of the creating innovation platform in the framework of the development of international Ukraine-China cooperation in the sphere of welding, and also the perspective of realizing mutual projects, the introduction of the state-of-the-art technologies, as well as attracting qualified specialists.

In his address to the participants of the event, the representative of the Embassy stressed the importance of developing a strategic partnership between Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China. He also expressed hope that the combination of experience of the Ukrainian and Chinese welding experts to make a great contribution to developing science and technology cooperation of both countries.
